The artist has given the entirety of his twenty-five thousand pound award winnings to the trust for venues, which works to save the UK's independent concert spaces.
Fender was given the prize on 16 October as his latest record the album was chosen as the top album of the previous year.
He has chosen to give the cash to the MVT, in appreciation of the essential function local spots fulfilled in his initial steps.
"As an artist couldn't be pursuing this success if it weren't for all the performances I performed around the area, and further afield, when I was just getting going," stated Sam Fender. "These venues are legendary, but they are in difficulty."
Beginning in 2023, over 150 of these locations have ceased operations – approximately 16% of the total UK scene.
Recently, top acts including the band Pulp, Coldplay, Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran have all aided the Music Venues Trust in its attempts to help venues survive, by adding a minor surcharge to their ticket costs, which supports independent venues.
Sam Fender also took part, raising more than £100,000 on his recent tour to assist numerous grassroots venues across Britain.
The donation assisted venues that were confronting potential shutdown due to issues stemming from water damage, fire incidents and bereavements, as well as licensing issues, court cases and neighbor objections.
Additional spaces obtained funding support in modernizing amenities and gear that helped performers and audiences.
"The concept that revenue from shows in major spaces backs the independent spots, where it begins for musicians like me, is just logical," the star has stated.
Fender is among several artists to donate his award funds to charitable organizations.
When they earned the prize in 1996 for their record the album, vocalist the singer declared that the act would give their winnings to the charity War Child.

Recently, the MVT revealed it had protected several small stages in the South East, by transferring them to local control.
One venue in the city and The Croft in the city were purchased under the Own Our Venues initiative, which is backed by the arts council and music fans who buy "ownership units" in the properties.
